3rd annual Flag Midnight Century

Starting at astronomical twilight on July 31st (9:11pm on Friday night) a nice gravel century. For those who are a little nervous, just do one of the excellent 50 mile loops for a gentle half century. We might suggest starting the Northern  loop at sunrise which will be at about 6am.

Is it a race?
Yes- if that's your jam. But its also a group ride, a bikepacking route, an excuse to ride through the night in a tutu (prize will be awarded for best dressed!) but most of all, an adventure. Bring good lights and a sense of humor.

NEW FOR 2026 BEAR HOWARD COLLAB DOUBLE CENTURY OPTION:
If you commit to completing either the half or full century on July 31st, receive discount code for half-off entry to the Bear Howard 100 on August 1st.
If you finish both the Midnight Century AND the Bear Howard Century, we’ll refund the remaining entry- just send proof of your ride (Garmin or Strava works, or take a selfie at designated checkpoints) and we’ll cover the remainder of your entry fee. There is no time limit, but Bear Howard aid stations will only be available during daylight hours on 8/1/2026. Midnight century aid stations TBD.

This year's route had some big changes, but the overall character isn't one of them- Two big loops out of downtown Flagstaff with a blend of gravel, singletrack and some pavement.
